MORE ON CRYSTAL SINGING BOWLS AND CHIMES

The A minor triad for example using the notes of A C and E in turn can be used to facilitate realizing own sense of rhythm and generally more meditative states. The sound of these three notes when played in this way do have the feel of energy directing inwards whereas the major triads such as that of D major i.e. D,F#,A which is thought to be useful in easing symptoms of chronic fatigue amongst other things, is more uplifting a sound as the major triads tend to be. The pure tones of crystal singing bowls can be used to create a feeling of balance and harmony within and between energy centres. Specific notes can be used to create a series of tones that follow the circle of fifths for example i.e. F,C,G,D,A,E,B,F#. The tubular bell chimes I use, follow a pattern of fifth intervals but between octaves, creating a harmonic and ascending pattern. The notes are F ( second octave), C3,G3, D4, A4 (at 432 hertz) , E5 and B5. discussed in specific tones section, The sound of these tones in this and ascending nature of the sounds when heard together are both harmonizing and uplifting to the ear. Using harmonic sequences such as these is often a good way to conclude the main part of  a sound session leaving the client with a feeling of calm and balance.
